8 Day Bohemia and Prague Tour

Bohemia is surprisingly rich in splendour and Prague is one of the many fascinating cities in Eastern Europe. It has had a decisive influence on the history of Europe for over a thousand years. The historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and never ceases to enchant its visitors.
DAY 1
With an early morning departure to Prague and with coffee breaks on the way. Around noon you will reach Krumlov. There you will have your lunch and city tour: amongst the winding alleys, romantic squares, unique complex of burgher houses and the imposing castle.
Then you will have your dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 2
After breakfast, you will go to the golden city in the Vltava Valley, where the city of towers, domes and bridges awaits you.
You will have your lunch in the city and then do more sightseeing of the Old Town with Powder Tower, Old Town Ring, Charles Bridge, Lesser Town, Agnes Monastery.
In the evening you will have your dinner and have the rest of the night to yourselves.
DAY 3
After breakfast, you will be visiting the Hradcany - the Prague Castle, and the St. Vitus Cathedral.
Prague Castle is the largest closed castle complex in the world with numerous churches and several hundred years of history.
You will then have your provided lunch, and afterwards, visit the Loreto Monastery and Strahov Monastery.
In the evening, you will have your dinner and then the night to yourselves.
DAY 4
After breakfast, you will explore the centre of the cosmopolitan city of Prague. In the houses and churches and palaces, you will encounter Romanticism, Gothic and magnificent Baroque. You will visit the Jewish quarter (synagogue, Jewish cemetery), the Old Town Square with the world-famous astronomical clock, which offers a curious spectacle punctually every noon.
After the comprehensive sightseeing follows the standard lunch.
Then the afternoon and evening are at your free disposal.
DAY 5
Today will endure an excursion to Karlovy Vary, the spa triangle. They are full of hot mineral and thermal springs at a pleasant climate and idyllic location on the river "Tepla", the gentle hills and steep rocks of the Ore Mountains and last but not least the magnificent architecture which offers unique contrasts to the eye.
In recent years, the town has developed into a modern cultural and social centre. You will be exploring the city with the tour guide - in between, you will have lunch together and then continue to Pilsen.
Then the evening will be for your leisure.
DAY 6
After breakfast, you will drive down to the birthplace of St. John Nepomuk with sightseeing, and have lunch on the way.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Frauenberg Castle. One of the most probably visited monuments in South Bohemia. The original royal castle from the 13th century underwent many reconstructions, the last of which in the years 1845 - 1871 turned it into a magnificent neo-Gothic princely seat of the Schwarzenberg dynasty.
You can visit the castle chambers and richly decorated halls on various tours, and you can also visit the armoury or the adjacent South Bohemian Mikoláš Aleš Gallery with its precious art collections.
Finally, you will stroll through the large chateau park, which lays out in an English style.
Then you will return to the hotel in Pilsen. Have your dinner and the rest of the evening.
DAY 7
Today you will be doing some sightseeing in Pilsen. Pilsen is the fourth largest city in the Czech Republic, in the west of Bohemia and the administrative seat of the Pilsen Region.
Pilsen is known mainly for its Pilsner beer and Škoda plants. Among the sights are the Gothic Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, the Renaissance Town Hall, Baroque reconstructions of the Archdeanery and the Franciscan Church or the Jewish Synagogue.
You will have your final lunch as a group in the city and then enjoy an afternoon of brewery tasting.
Then the evening will be yours.
DAY 8
You will have your last breakfast, then have some time to get any last-minute souvenirs, until it is time to head back home.
