3 Day Mini Cruise – York
Perhaps you would like to spend an exciting long weekend? Take a look at our mini-cruise to York. Spend 2 stress-free days alone, with a friend or partner. Take a short trip and get new motivation for your daily work.
York is a city in the North East of England, which was discovered by the ancient Romans in the 13th century. York belongs to the historic county of Yorkshire, from where the city got its name.
You will travel with P&O Ferries and stay in a 2-bed cabin.
On the first day of your mini cruise, the ferry from Rotterdam/Zeebrugge leaves on the night ferry for Hull.
On your second day after breakfast, you will dock at the port of Hull. You set off in the direction of York. You will find interesting shops and streets in the city centre, museums, the University, typical pubs and a dreamlike flair that goes back centuries in history.
Later in the day, you will meet your tour guide who will lead you through the city for about two hours. The program includes a visit to York Minster, the largest Cathedral in Northern Europe and the seat of the Archbishop. The Cathedral has magnificently painted window panes from the 14th to 15th century. There are also elaborate tombs and stone walls. Of course, the entrance to the York Minister is already included.
After a few hours in this city worth seeing, the bus will take you back to Hull, where you will receive the night ferry Rotterdam/Zeebrugge and are already on your way home.
