backlit-bright-clouds-414578.jpg

Welcome to your 5-day break in Scotland.

On the first day, you start your journey with the journey from Germany to Rotterdam. From here, take the night ferry that will take you to the British Isles, more specifically to Hull. Before that, however, you can have dinner on board and discover the various entertainment options of the ferry.

Day 2: In the morning, your coach will take you from Hull to York, where you will see the York Minster, among other things. It is the largest medieval church in England and was completed in 1472 after a construction period of 250 years.

Then it goes on to the Glasgow area, where you will have your dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: After a hearty Scottish breakfast, go on a tour of Edinburgh with your guide. Scotland's capital is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This is evidenced by the coveted award as a World Heritage Site, which was given to the medieval part of the city "Old Town" and the Georgian part "New Town". Whatever time of year you visit Edinburgh, the many museums, art galleries, theatres and international shops will give you an unforgettable stay. The tour includes a visit to Edinburgh Castle, from where you have a wonderful view of the city. They also have access to the "Honors of the Kingdom" exhibition, which includes the Scottish crown jewels and the well-known "Stone of Destiny". Later, a visit to the Holyroodhouse Palace is on your program.

Day 4: Scotland's largest city Glasgow is a recognised centre for style, design and architecture. The city is elegant, full of life and vitality - and one of the friendliest places you have ever seen. Glasgow used to be a religious community, a university town, a commercial port, an industrial centre and the second city of the British Empire. In addition to sights such as George Square and the City Chambers, you have the opportunity to visit St. Mungo’s Cathedral (depending on church hours). Towards late morning, unfortunately, it is time to say goodbye, you go to the night ferry to Hull to start your return journey.

In the morning you will reach Rotterdam, from where you will start your journey home to Germany.
